Areas of work
Work undertaken has included:-
- data management - organization of protein annotation data for project report delivery
- technical writing - editing manuscripts to report interpretations of graphical data
- grant applications - reviewing proposals
- bibliographic work - designing filters for searching the Science Citation Index
- literature searching - PubMed searches and abstract reading to identify research papers in e.g. breast cancer for review articles
- copy editing - setting instructions for printers, editing and language polishing for a scientific journal
- tutoring on courses - preparing and delivering presentations and practical workshops
- website development - design, creation, maintenance and content management
The above list is given as an illustration of the type of work undertaken but is in no way exhaustive as a much broader range of activities and projects for which a background in proteomics is essential are welcomed and will be considered.
Contract work
On a contract and/or consultancy basis, valuable support and advice can be provided for your projects, whether you are based in academia or industry. Projects involving the application or development of proteomics are of particular interest.
